Alcoholics Anonymous helps alcoholics. It is based on one alcoholic helping another alcoholic and the alcoholic wanting that help. Therefore we are not equipped to offer advice to the family and friends of alcoholics. Fortunately there is another organisation that was set up by the wives of the first founders of A.A. called Al-Anon Family Groups . Al-Anon helps family members and friends of alcoholics. 

Al-Anon is a separate organisation, not affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous, that is specifically set up for your needs.
